Project Radio is absolutely THRILLED to have under its belt a number of RSL (Restricted Service License) broadcasts.

In our broadcasts we have covered many local topics, the general election, local council election, interviews and local events, providing training in all aspects of broadcast to all newcomers, promoting local businesses and overall raising the profile of Bury within Greater Manchester.

There are many opportunities, so fear not of what you have to offer. Some of you have worked with us before, some will be new, but we value each and every individual participant. For those who haven't worked with us before, Project Radio is a volunteer run Community Radio Station based at 29 Knowsley St, Bury (opposite the Town Hall Clock Tower).

Community Radio

Project Radio continues to develop its media department and is very keen to hear from all members of the community regardless of age to be part of this exciting project. Absolutely no experience is required, just lots of enthusiasm, a good sense of humour and community spirit. You can get involved in any aspect of Project 29 or Project Radio - behind the scenes or in front of the microphone / camera. Full training will be provided.

Apart from presenters/ programme contributors, opportunities lie in production, development and programme devising, meeting and greeting guests, tea making, cleaning, absolutely anything at all. We also want to hear from you if you have marketing/promotion experience. Lend your expertise to this worthy cause and earn some money.

If you've got the gift of the gab and love talking to people then you'd be PERFECT.
